Christmas Party-December Support Group Meeting

Season's Greetings!! 
 
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  

We will be having an open forum for our December 16th, 2009 support group meeting.  Remember the new time is 6:30 until 8:00 p.m.   It will be held at JOHN KNOX CHURCH, 5155 Eastlake St NW, Just south of Portage Rd. off Frank Ave, North Canton, OH 44720.

To celebrate the holiday, we will be having a Christmas dinner party.  Please bring your favorite recipe, whether it is a covered dish, salad, or dessert...make sure to include the written recipe so we can all share.  What better way to celebrate the holiday than to chat with fellow WLS members, eat good food and add new recipes!  

Please email me indicating you will be attending and your food selection.  This way we can be sure that our dinner will not just include all of one food group!    So plan on having dinner at our December group meeting and chatting about any and everything!  

Look forward to hearing back from you with what delicious item you will be bringing.

Hi Carla!

Good to hear from you.

I went back to work full time, up at 4:30 every morning, drive 45 minutes each way, go each night to the Y and work out so by the time I get home, have supper and clean up I am history.  I still have my support group meetings which is when I post, so my only answer is..I am slacking off!

I did post around October/November to thank everyone here for all the support they have shown over the past two years since I had my WLS.

I do miss everyone, however I am sure that I am not so much missed.

You take care and I do hope to see you maybe next year at an OH event.  I so enjoyed Chicago!

I do know what you mean about not having time!!!!! I am going back to work sometime this week. I got a job in the emergency room as a registrar at one of the local hospitals down where I live. I havent worked in the hospital for 5 years now. I am anxious to get back.
It was also great meeting you in Chicago too. You look great!!!!!
I have had a bad year with fighting Thyroid cancer and going thru the treatments for that.  But I did survive and I am ready to tackle the world again!!!!!

I run a support group with another lady sometimes here too.

CONGRATULATIONS CARLA!  I am very exicted and happy for you. I hope you enjoy going back to work.  I know I have.

I am sorry about your struggle over the past year..and I thank God that you did survive.
 
You go girl and keep on tackleing the world!  You grab that brass ring, you deserve it.
